We question the obvious solution and look for the possibilities that may not immediately be visible.
Our goal is not simply to create beautiful spaces, but meaningful ones—spaces with identity, intention, and a sense of belonging.

Nayir Design Studio creates architecture with a clear sense of belonging—spaces shaped by the people who use them, the qualities of their site, and the life they are meant to hold.
Our process begins with attentive listening. We study patterns of living, movement, light, and context before a formal language takes shape.
The goal is not a signature style, but an enduring identity: architecture that feels specific, works beautifully, and grows more meaningful through use.
We welcome constraints as a source of direction, balancing imagination with practical clarity so each decision serves both the experience of a space and its long-term life.
Across homes, workplaces, and civic environments, we turn ambitious ideas into thoughtful, buildable places—grounded in care, collaboration, and a respect for what already exists.

Nayir means “look” in Armenian—an invitation to look closer, see differently, and discover the identity and possibility within a space.

03 — ABOUT FOUNDER
Nairi Nayirian
Founder · Nayir Design Studio
Nairi began in Biology, where an early fascination with systems, organization, and the relationship between individual parts shaped the way she observes the built world.
Nairi earned her Master of Architecture (M.Arch I) from SCI-Arc, where that curiosity evolved into an education that encouraged questioning assumptions, thinking differently, and seeing possibility in constraints.
At Gensler, she worked on large-scale educational and civic projects alongside architects who showed her how bold ideas become thoughtful, complex, and buildable places.
